James Reid

Co- founder.

Starting at Edinburgh Napier University, James took their Intro to Screenwriter course before going to study film at New College Lanarkshire, achieving both HNC and HND.

After college, James went back to Edinburgh Napier University to achieve his BA (hons) in television production. 

After finishing education James has gone on to receive a RTS (Royal Television Society) nomination and was a new mentee at the Glasgow film festival under mentorship of Bafta winner Martin Smith.

James has completed multiple short films, documentaries and music videos working with up and coming and established talent within Scotland. 

With interests in multiple genres, recovery and cinematic structure, James tries to do something different within the framework of heightened dramatic realism. 

His most recent films are ‘Experience, strength and broke’ and ‘Lola’.

Alan Cope

Co- founder

Alan Cope is a fiction writer, playwright, and film maker from the vale of Leven.

West Dunbartonshire known for his hard hitting gritty storytelling laced with black humour. Drawing on his own past struggles with substance addiction.

Copes work often explores themes of redemption, resilience and the darker corners of humanity.
